Seven reasons not to use Paypal

Paypal No one doubts the technological revolution that has triggered the massive use of the Internet, we can even say that it has changed the buying habits of millions of people around the world. Due to this technological boom it is increasingly common to use on-line banking services, to the point that virtual banking entities have emerged without physical offices that allow transactions to be made anywhere in the world through the Internet.buy perfectmoney with PayPal anywhere in the world through the Internet

One of these companies emerged to meet the needs of consumers and merchants is PayPal. This company allows its users to make payments and collections instantly. People who are engaged in transactions on the Internet, for example in e-Bay, generally find in Paypal the ideal way to perform their business activities. That is why it is common for more and more electronic stores to accept PayPal as another form of payment.

The online payment system is extremely simple: when the user wants to pay, he simply enters an e-mail account and the seller charges the amount. PayPal then withdraws that money from the user's account and transfers it to the seller's, if the money from the Paypal account does not cover the total amount, Paypal charges the difference to the associated credit card.

So far it seems that all are advantages, but there are at least 7 fundamental reasons why it is not advised to use Paypal:

1 - Paypal is NOT a bank, it is a private company that provides financial services and is not backed by any banking system, if Paypal goes bankrupt you lose your money.

2 - According to Paypal's service conditions, when you become a user, you waive the reimbursement rights for fraudulent or unauthorized use of your credit card.

3 - Lack of legal coverage, being a US company, any litigation that reaches the legal route must be resolved in the United States, presenting the least difficulties for foreign users to defend their rights through legal channels.

4 - Paypal conditions are abusive and constantly change, among its pages of conditions the lack of international legislation on this type of companies is appreciated. According to its conditions, PayPal can preventively block a user's accounts without having to have more explanations. There are numerous threads in forums that explain this type of abuses by Paypal and there are even associations of users who have filed lawsuits.

5 - Paypal can seize the balance of the account indefinitely, just as in point 4 to recover the amounts seized will require many procedures and patience, since its customer service is almost as efficient as the e-Bay . And of course the amounts seized will be guarded by Paypal while the "investigation" lasts.

6 - The user always has to lose before any problem that arises, being PayPal the only judge will make the decision that suits the company. If the user receives a payment made with a stolen credit card the funds will be seized, if the money is lost when managing the charge the user will have to perform countless procedures to choose to recover it, if as a buyer he does not receive the product he will only receive one part of the amount provided they can seize those funds to the seller.

7 - Paypal accounts are a booty much desired by cyber-criminals, it is common to receive counterfeit emails pretending to be eBay or PayPal in the hope of accessing the accounts of their users. Although PayPal is not the only company that has been a victim of spoofing, it is true that PayPal is one of the most affected.

The use of PayPal means having to accept the business ethics of this company and expect it to act honestly for reasons of prestige, but due to the lack of a legal framework that covers this type of activities, it is not an institution that offers guarantees to its users.
